NASCAR Team Member Murdered

Jimmy Sprinkle, a mechanic for the Brian Vickers Red Bull team, was murdered at his home in Alexander County, North Carolina (the county where I live), on Saturday night.  According to the Alexander County Sheriff’s Department, he was ‘investigating a person coming down his driveway in northeast Alexander County, north of Hiddenite, around 10:30 p.m. Saturday night, according to WSOC-TV. He was shot once in the chest and died at Iredell Memorial Hospital.’

I must add that murders in my county are rare so this is quite a shock, not only for the Red Bull team but the people who live in this quiet county.
