NASCAR’s Evolution of ‘07

December 6, 2007 by Tim Zaegel

I’ve talked about it all season long (or at least since I began writing this blog).  2007 has produced some of the most dramatic changes in NASCAR history from the drop of the flag at Daytona last February right up through the Silly Season in November & December (and, of course, January – though we haven’t gotten there quite yet).  I mean, we’ve seen the layout of a completely new stock car model, we’ve seen the most popular driver in our sport jump ship from his own father’s company to join the most dominant team in NASCAR history, the emergence of a foreign model, new sponsorships for all of the main series, a ton of team changes, and the list goes on and on and on.  For a complete rundown of these changes, click here.

I would love to see Jr. and Khane become on track rivals seeing as they have swapped sponsors. Mtn Dew was only an associate sponsor to Khane but that still counts.

I still can’t see Khane driving the Bud car. He looks like he still packs a lunch with Capri Sun. Budweiser should have gone with Robbie Gordan since he drives on the track like he is drunk.

Danggit!!! Who voted for litlle E in the pole? You ruined it. We were going for the goose egg. There’s always one.
