National Write This And That Month

calendarNovember seems to be the month for writers to write like mad. First there’s National Novel Writing Month or NaNoWriMo. I have one friend who has entered, is writing an R-rated mystery/suspense novel called, well, I guess it’s not named yet, and it’s definitely R-so if you don’t like or approve of rough language don’t bother.

There’s also National Blog Posting Month or NaBloPoMo – you can post on their site or on your own… but you’ve got to do a blog entry every single day.

These are interesting drills… I’m not signing up for either. I know I could never ever do the novel in 30 days, at least not now. And although I blog almost every day I really want to be able to take most Saturdays off… a way to treat myself well. But, it does look like fun.

Write well and often,

While I love the idea of using November to write an entire novel . . . I don’t seem to love it quite enough to actually do it. ;-)

Yeah, Lorna, that’s my position too… great idea… maybe some year…
