Need a Hotel During the Beijing Olympics?

You’ve heard the rumors – supposedly, there’s no five-star hotels (or even decent quality ones) available during the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics.  Good news!  You may not have to sleep outdoors (isn’t that a great picture?).  Fortunately, a service called “Hotels Combined” which seems a bit like Travelocity and Expedia, has provided a list of accommodations that are still up for grabs. 

I was shocked that there were still some vacancies but what really blew my mind were the prices!  I saw some as low as $60 Canadian dollars per night!  That’s incredible.
