Neteller is an online eWallet which provided payment processing (Billion per yr) for an estimated 85 per cent of the online gambling industry. They no longer work the US side of the road. Back in January, two big former execs were arrested and since then the DOJ has been looking closely at the company’s finances. (Previous related posts: 1, 2, 3)

In a March 21st press release the NETELLER Plc Group, has announced they signed agreements with each of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York (“USAO”) and Navigant Consulting, Inc. (“Navigant”).

What does all this mean and who is Navigant?

It means that now, the millions of dollars tied up with Neteller because of the US legal proceedings can be returned to US account holders,

“…the Group anticipates that within the next 75 days it will announce a plan by which the funds will be distributed to US customers.

Navigant is:

“…forensic accounting firm would be engaged, at the Group’s expense, to assist in this process and to examine the Group’s financial position.”
