New MSN Features Identifies Faces and More

A while back, Google introduced its face detection capabilities, and now MSN decided to show a bit of its capabilities which include face, portrait and black&white recognition.

According to the official post, MSN introduced three new features that help people find faces, portraits and black and white images. We tested the different filters on a recent media “figure”, here is how it works:

  1. without the new features – lindsay lohan
  2. with new face filtering on – lindsay lohan filter:face
  3. with new portrait filtering on – lindsay lohan filter:portrait
  4. with new black and white filtering on – lindsay lohan filter:bw

Seems to work pretty good, plus I really like the quick thumb resize option allowing you to view more/less images on each page. Here’s a bw example:
