New Nintendo Characters to Come?

In an interview with Mercury news, Shigeru Miyamoto hinted at the possibility of something new to come in 2008. Could that something new be a set of new characters for the Wii?
Miyamoto said, “Maybe next year sometime, we may have new characters in the same way we came up with Pikmin when we introduced the GameCube.”
It’s sure sounding like it! Of course, we’ll have to wait until next year to see what Nintendo has up its sleeve regarding the creation of new characters, but it’s fun to speculate in the meantime.

what about a new mario firend? she is a tomby named legendary sp she loves yellow & blue. she weres a yellow cap & shirt and blue jeans. also she has short brown hair and brown shoes. and also has white gloves,too. she has 3 tings that give her power:star earrings and neckalice and a pinkie ring on her right hand. legendary sp loves stars and adventers……..A LOT !!!!!!!
