New Viking Still Working at Target

Nick Urban, formally of Winona State, wasn’t about to leave his employer “high and dry” just because he signed a juicy contract with the Minnesota Vikings. Urban is a lineman, and he is thankful for the flexibility of Target’s managers, which helped hm with his schedule. So, he put on his uniform and worked his scheduled shift this week, even though he doesn’t really need the money anymore.
Says Urban,
“They were nice enough to take me on, knowing my situation and I owed them a lot. My parents raised me that way. They were nice enough to help out [at Target] and people that are nice enough to help you, you don’t just leave high and dry.”
Sounds like a good kid – hope he finds success in the NFL.
