New Xbox Experience Available Today!

The New Xbox Experience is like a party on your television and it starts today!  There has been a Countdown to the New Xbox Experience page on the Xbox site that has showcased some of the new features and I have to admit that I don’t completely understand it but from what I’ve seen, I’m pretty excited! 

Here are some of the new things I’ve seen:

• You will be able to create a "virtual you" with a customized animated avatar (I have to admit that it looks a lot cooler than the Miis that are offered by the Nintendo Wii).
• The theme you select will not only be on your dashboard but also on every channel that you visit!
• Download a Track Pack for Guitar Hero World Tour which will include "Mr. Brightside" (The Killers) and two new songs from the new 2008 album Day & Age including Losing Touch and Human.
• Game with the developers of Gears of War 2!
• Select from a wide assortment of HD movies and TV shows!

There is so much more but you’ll just have to explore it for yourself!  The best part is that you don’t really have to do anything to get it.  The Xbox site says that the update will "download just like a normal system update would."
