The year is 2025, and what remains of Roger Federer wanders the countryside, pining away for its glory days as if it had real, human emotions. Federer, formerly the best tennis automaton in the world, has been reduced to a shell of its former entity. Literally. Its interior mechanisms of tennis superiority were acquired by Eldricorp in 2019. Its downward spiral began in 2007, when it began losing tennis matches. As this was contrary to its programming, its hard drive began shutting down. That process has continued to today, as it now spends all its days monitoring its own wikipedia article, as it is all its outdated volley-software can handle.
