mix06Got an e-mail from Newsgator yesterday but I didn’t have the time to write about it, so here it is;) NewsGator has announced synchronization plans between Windows Vista, Internet Explorer 7 and the NewsGator family of RSS products. This was demonstrated during keynote and breakout sessions at the MIX 06 Conference:

The synchronization will enable users to ensure that Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 7 users stay up-to-date with all their subscriptions, whether they are accessing them via the Web, mobile devices, Mac OS-based computers, and other platforms. As a result, users will be able to subscribe to and read news, information and other RSS content where, when, and how they want… During demonstrations today at the Microsoft MIX06 event, the two companies showed how a user could subscribe to an RSS feed from Internet Explorer 7, sync and view items from the feed in NewsGator online, sync from NewsGator Online to NewsGator’s NetNewsWire Mac-based reader, and then see the feed list through a preview of the upcoming NewsGator Windows Mobile Reader.
