Next Blizzard MMO To Be All New

Any Blizzard fan boys and girls out there that have been crossing your fingers at the thought that the next MMORPG in development will be something like World of Diablo or World of Starcraft, you’re going to be disappointed. But it will likely not be for long. If you love Blizzard, then it’s likely you’ll love whatever they’ve got in the workshop at the moment because let’s face it: Blizzard knows what they’re doing. Love ‘em or hate ‘em, they’ve got the numbers and the track record to prove that they know how to create a bestselling game.

So, while it’s not going to be Diablo or Starcraft, it’s going to be something. Blizzard is officially hard at work on their next MMO and here’s what little there is to know on the subject so far:

We have nothing to advertise for the new MMO because it’s a shell of a game thus far. We’ve already stated it’ll be a brand new franchise, which means the lore, art, and game play are being developed entirely from scratch. So for now we wait until we know more. If anyone can dethrone World of Warcraft it’s probably Blizzard. Although, we’ll have to wait and see what they’ve got up their sleeves.
