Next Generation’s Greatest Video Games of 2005

Next Generation has posted their 30 greatest video games of 2005, and readily invite others to send them hatemail if they don’t agree. I can’t say I agree nor disagree because I’ve sadly not had the opportunity to play all of those games. My New Year’s Resolution is going to be to get my hands on more new releases in 2006. Actually, I don’t believe in NYRs (I always forget them), so scratch that.
So here’s what NextGeneration claims are the Best of ‘05:

Quake 4? Probably not out on anything but the PC, but still worthy on the FPS I think.
How about video games from Asia such as those online games from Korea and Taiwan?
They are missing out a lot.
Hey man this is embarissing where all the greatest shooting agems such as HALO 2 and call of Duty 2?. there far most the greatest shooting games of the year but if this is a nintendo listeing than i agree resident evil diserves to be on the top of the list. I really diagree with the choice MVP 2005 thats not the best sports game. Even i better game that i’m suprised thats not even in the ist position is:
“Fight Night round 2″ but overall good choice!

World of Warcraft is a feeeeling… if it’s not on the list, the list suck. (or actually it was quite the good one, but guild Wars over WoW? I don’t think so..)
Tor, I think the reason it’s Guild Wars is because it came out in 2005, whereas WoW came out the year before. I think their list of best games of 2005 is a lit of games that were new this year. But I could be wrong :)
