NFL looking to go international

After the success of last year’s San Fran-Arizona game in Mexico, the NFL has been eyeing chances to go overseas for a game or two this year as well. Proposed places to hold the games are Mexico, Canada, the United Kingdom and Germany. Mexico and Canada both seem to be decent possibilities, but I’m not sure the NFL is really going to have a game in Europe unless both teams are coming off their bye week, in which case they could go down a week and a half early and get fully adjusted to the time zone.

The problem is, coming home they’d have the exact same problem, and they’d only have one week to readjust. Coaches like Bill Belichick would go mad if they were forced to do something like that.

The idea of having international games is an interesting one, but there are going to be a lot of logistics that will need to be sorted out before something like that happens.

They should play in Japan. Worked so well for MLB.
