NFL – Why Cowboys are better than Lions

NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
Some may say the ownership.
Some may say coaching.
Some may say the players.
Some may even say the fans or marketing departments (America’s Team?).
Some may say Jessica Simpson. (OK, not many)
But your intrepid author, as usual, will go where no one else dare tread.
Back a millennium ago, two organizations were on the upswing and met in the playoffs. The Squibster was but a boy and quite the Lions fan. The year was 1970, the day after Christmas. It was Dallas vs. Detroit.
Final Score: Dallas Cowboys 5, Detroit Lions 0
Even better, my first exposure to the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders – Wow!
Since then the Cowboys have been great and the Lions have stunk. It is the Cheerleaders.
