Niche marketing is basically when you streamline your marketing efforts to a specific cosumer demographic. Determining your niche for your business should be included in your online strategy plan. This way, you can make sure that your efforts are targeted and are not disjointed.
After you have determined your niche, the next thing you should do is define how you will use social media to market to your niche. Just think of social media like it is a jig-saw puzzle that you need to figure out how it all fits together. So take what you have determined as your niche market then research to see how you can reach them via social media.
Now let’s checkout some of the different ways that you can use social media to reach your niche market.
- Research your competitor to see how they are using social media to reach the niche market you are trying to reach.
- Integrate social media into your website so that consumers can interact with you via your website.
- Create ways to capture your web visitor’s information so that you can connect with them via a mailing list. You can giveaway freebies, sell products or ask them to provide feedback.
- After you have connected with your niche market, create ways to stay connected. Such as loyalty programs or training programs.
- Don’t forget to determine how to reach your niche market via mobile phone marketing.
