Nick Barnett Takes on City Hall

Nick Barnett wants an apology from the NFL and official Jim Quirk for the choke-hold Quirk administered on Barnett during a scuffle in last Sunday’s Bears-Packers game. Barnett was expected to file a formal grievance, but now appears to only want an apology. 

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell’s expected response is to tell Barnett he’s lucky it wasn’t Ed Hochuli and to suspend Barnett for four games. Nobody questions the National Football League, not while big Rog’ is in charge.
