Nielsen: Consumers Happy with HD Picture Quality, “Meh…” to Programming

So you like the picture quality on that fancy HDTV of yours? Well, you’re in the majority. Nielsen Media has released the 2007 High Definition survey of theirs, and more than 85% of the people polled thought the picture quality was “excellent” or “above average.” Women were shown to be more happy about the picture quality than men, and men also weren’t so happy with their content selection if they had an HD-DVR. The survey also showed that sports were the most watched content on HDTV (who would have thought that?). For all the stats Nielson put together, hit the lnk below.
