Having trouble getting your hands on the Wii Fit? You’re not the only one. Shortages have been rampant and Nintendo has issued a statement to MTV (wait, MTV?):

“Nintendo had a substantial supply nationwide for launch, though some stores saw spot shortages due to unprecedented demand for this unique product. The consumer response to ‘Wii Fit’ at launch was historically exceptional when compared with peripheral-based video game products. We are providing retailers with a constant supply of ‘Wii Fit,’ so you should see a regular supply of ‘Wii Fit’ on store shelves as we move through the summer and into the holidays.”

So that should be a small comfort should you be lusting after the Wii Fit.

For those of you that already have the Wii Fit, what do you think of it? Worth the hype?

Yes, I love my Wii Fit. It is well worth the $$ and I use it a few times/week in addition to regular workouts. I find that I workout longer on the Wii Fit because it is a lot more fun than just a boring ride on the bike.
