Nnooo Proposes Pokemon MMORPG

Think you’re hot just because you’ve managed to avoid the soul-capturing lure of World of Warcraft? Try saying “No” to a Pokemon MMORPG, Captain Restraint.
Nnooo, a game studio with the strangest name I’ve ever typed, has presented Nintendo with a modest proposal for a Pokemon RPG.
“We have a concept for a cool Pokemon MMORPG,” Nnooo assures fans on its website.
Well heck, I’m sold!
I hope if this comes into fruition, I get to choose between playing as a trainer or a Pokemon. That would be epic, especially if Pokemon had the option to revolt. Oh, to tell my grandchildren* about the day the rivers ran red with the blood of our masters. Their voice still cries to us from the depths of the soil, my progeny.
*My grandchildren will be Charmanders, of course.

I can’t get over that company name, it sounds like they’re trying to emulate the sound of people screaming in mourning over the loss of their free time.
Wouldn’t a Pokemon MMO (or any MMO for that matter) require a fundamental rethinking of the Friend Code setup? If this comes to fruition it’ll be interesting to see how it’s handled.
Gads, I bet they’ve been planning this from the start! “C’mon guys, if we’re going to invent a Pokemon MMORPG, we’d better have a name that suits the lamentations of our userbase’s women!”
