We’ve had a running joke in most of the IT departments I’ve worked in — What is IT responsible? Most people feel, anything that’s plugged in.

Hah! I do like that story, Jesse. Have to say, our local IT folks are great…but of course we are a Windows shop and I run Vista (which I am not crazy about ) at home.

Not only do people what you to fix their personal computers. They automatically assume you can fix anything that plugs into an outlet or runs on batteries.
