   Interesting concept but too much unnecessary animation going on though (ducking head & flashing “ad” sidebar thing). The blinking is especially obnoxious and actually makes it hard to look at the image.

   I also tend to mouse over what I’m looking at when I’m reading, so losing the picture to an ad when my mouse hits it is a bit annoying as well. Transparent overlay would probably work better.

   This is a testing process, and mostly for the celebrity and entertainment blogs (I take my own photos, thank you). Believe me it’s been more painful for me than you guys. I’m trying to keep the image testing on here to an absolute minimum.

   it doesn’t appear on my rss reader (google reader)

   it’s nice and all, but i am not sure what it is, where the photo comes from, if it’s an or a widget

   Hey Heri, yeah it doesn’t appear in RSS readers, we’ve found. It’s a javascript/flash thingy that I embed in posts.

   I’ve noticed that load time is effected … you?

   no not really, i didn’t. but i have broadband. you might try it on a slower connection (for instance, go to an coffee shop or something)
