No Song Downloads for Wii Rock Band

This news isn’t much of a shocker, though it’s a bit disappointing: the Wii version of Rock Band will not allow you to add songs to your collection, unlike the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. In an attempt to circumvent mass panic and disappointment, five additional songs will be included in the game.
Why not ten? Five is almost like a slap in the face. I have a feeling Rock Band will not hit its peak with the Wii, unfortunately.

This is terrible. Hopefully the added songs will come from major bands…if not, they’re leaving a lot of money on the table by not letting Wii players have the same benefits as PS3 and 360 players. Dumb, dumb, dumb.
Just reading the latest update on this, Wii’s Rockband will be released Jun 22,2008, and does feature “downloadable content” as well as online play. So it looks like this issue may have been resolved.
do you have a link or anything to where you read that?!? i would love some solid fact about dlc…
