No Wonder Andy Roddick Feels Lucky These Days

The other day we reiterated our theory that when professional athletes hook up with models, good things happen on the field/court. (And we’re pretty confident “good things” happen in other, more private locales, too).
In case you needed visual evidence of the case we made for Andy Roddick, here’s a special-for-YouTube 2008 Sports Illustrated video of his swimsuit model fiancee Brooklyn Decker (1m, 13s) on a shoot in Israel.
Warning: If you’re a man, you might need a cold shower after this. If you’re a chick, you might not be in the mood for bathing suit shopping until your memory of this video fades a bit. Unless you’re Brooklyn Decker.

Way to go Andy Roddick! I’ve always wondered though, does it help or hurt an athlete when they get involved with models, actresses, etc. Do they lose a bit of their focus? Their Edge? Either way, I guess he comes out a winner at the end of everyday with a fiance like that. lol
See, Jodie … I knew you loved us. Very inspirational footage!
Jason–Good question . . . a sports debate for the ages! Lately the trend has been hot girlfriend=stellar on-field performance (except for Tony Romo). But it’s also gone the other way on a number of occasions. I guess the only thing to do is wait for more case studies!
Tim–We aim to please here on Gossip On Sports!
Very happy for Andy Roddick! He’s a great tennis player and she looks like a nice girl.
I think Andy’s probably pretty happy for Andy, too!
