Noise-cancelling Headphones

I love my noise cancelling headphones. I use them on every flight. They don’t make the world 100% silent, but they cut down significantly on the engine and wind noise, making the flying experience just a bit more bearable.Sometimes I use them with my iPod on the flight and they are great for movies on long-haul flights (movies on a plane without them are a waste for me – I can never hear the quiet punch lines), but mostly I use them just to have reduced noise. For myself as a frequent flyer they are a must-have. I might sometimes forget a toothbrush or shampoo on a trip, but I never forget my headphones. I am surprised that so few people use them.

They’re also good for your health! Because they keep out noise, you can keep the music at a much lower volume than might otherwise be the case.
