United Nations Springs Into Inaction

After three hours of closed door meetings, the U.N. Security Council failed to agree on the proper response to North Korea’s recent rocket launch which pretty much everyone agreed was a violation of U.N. resolutions.

The U.S. and Japan had called for the meeting and termed the North Korean action “a provocative act.”

After failing to make any headway about what to do, Security Council members decided to take a break and attend a New York show by the Pussycat Dolls.

Security council members Libya and Uganda called the Pussycat Dolls performance “a provocative act.”

In a rare show of solidarity, Security Council members appeared to agree on the proper response to the act.
