Now on DVD: “Notorious”

Notorious tells the story of the life and death of one of the world’s biggest rappers, Notorious B.I.G. (aka, Christopher Wallace). Viewers will get to catch a glimpse at his humble beginnings on the streets of 
Brooklyn, right up to his murder.
Of course, his friendship with Puff Daddy (aka Diddy, aka Sean Combs, etc…) is highlighted as is his relationship with singer, Faith Evans. In fact, their son Chrisopher Wallace Jr. makes an appearance in the film as a young Biggie.
I was more of a West Coast fan back in the day so, even though I knew about Biggie, I really don’t know that much about his life. I’m looking forward to seeing how things between him and Tupac Shakur play out in the movie too. There were a million rumors about Biggie’s wife, Faith, having an affair with Tupac which only made the rift between the rappers worse. Faith denies these allegations and has even maintained that Tupac made inappropriate sexual advances towards her. Obviously, none of us will ever know the real truth but I am interested in seeing how these things were explained in the movie.
