Now That Christmas Is Over, Part 1.

Now that Christmas is over and most of the leftovers are gone, what do we do? Another Holiday right around the corner, but that’s associated with drinking more than it is eating. Some people may still have time off or took vacation during the holidays to stay home and relax. Relaxing can be a great thing but sometimes when you sit around a lot, boredom tell you to eat.
Spread It Out: One of the easiest ways to keep yourself from eating or snacking too much is to cut the meals down in to smaller meals instead of just eating three large meals. Sounds easy enough, right? Not really. It takes discipline as well.
Get Busy: Another thing that helps it getting preoccupied in to something without thinking about food. A good book or something to keep your hands busy. Chew a piece of gum while you’re watching TV…but don’t watch the food channel. Even playing a video game might keep your mind off of the food.
Get Up and Get Out: Now some people might be saying, “get out of the house” but this time of year that’s not that easy. With winter temperatures where are you to go? Mall-walking is one thing you can do. It’s not my thing, but I see people do it sometimes. Just stay away from the food court because we know you can’t really eat very healthy in most mall food courts. Others in southern states might not have this problem with cold weather. If you’re fortunate to live in this type of climate then get outside, get some fresh air and get moving.
Cleansing: Another good thing to do now that the two biggest eating holidays of the year are over is a good system flush. Buying and using a good system cleansing kit from GNC or Vitamin World is beneficial and some say it’s good to to this at least twice a year. Body Cleansing kits are said to remove waste build up and toxins from your system and you can buy kits that won’t make you run to the head (bathroom) every ten minutes.
