Can we just skip the Wii Remote?

Had the remote 2 days, used for playing Super Mario World. Liked it alot, until the right button on the control pad started sticking, forcing Mario to always scroll to the right. These classic games are all 2d side scroll, if this is gonna happen after 2 days of play… doesn’t sound like it’s gonna hold up.
