Oakland’s Ellis hits game winning grand slam – fans don’t see it

In case you missed Saturday’s Oakland Athletics-Los Angeles Angels game, which many local viewers did, then you missed Mark Ellis’ game winning grand slam. According to the Pasadena Star-News, the television channel which was carrying the game cut out and changed programs just as Angels reliever Chris Bootcheck was about to deliver the final pitch.

Apparently there was some communication issues which caused the feed to be switched at a certain time. For Angels fans – it had to be a horrible feeling scrambling to find out how the game ended and knowing they missed the grand slam that caused their team to lose.

At least the reason this game cut out was not because of Major League Baseball’s ridiculous blackout policy.
