October and November Earnings Report

After the breakout month in September I figured that I would be even further motivated to work hard and continue to increase my monthly revenue. To say the least I slacked off…a lot. I took more of a vacation these last 2 months and that is why the writing on all my sites has dropped (or disappeared). I was able to do things that I have put off for a long time along with fixing up my credit by paying off some nasty bills.
With all of that in mind the expectations for these past 2 months was pretty low, which is a shame because if I had put in a good amount of work I might be seeing a higher payoff during the month of December for holiday shopping. All in all I didn’t do to bad.
Final revenues, which do not include the work I do with Business Logs was $8587.67. That comes out to about $4300 per month and $1175 a week. Still much better than any job I had in the past.
In the next couple of weeks I will outline my plans for 2005 and you should see new designs that follow a new strategy with regards to some of my sites. Hope you didn’t miss me too much :-).
Still very impressive figures. Would you mind telling us how the split is in terms of Google Ads and other stuff? Also I would guess you make most of your pesos on the CSS Vault – is that correct? Reason I ask is I’m curious how much your “personal” writing at whitespace is contributing to this pile of cash you’re raking in ;-)

Telling you how much he made from AdSense is in violation of their Terms & Conditions.
Wonder how much you’d have made if you posted more–we’re not seeing the top of the Christmas curve, so you should still promote your AWS sites.

That’s not true actually. Sharing, say, EPC and CTR would violate the ToS–because those require you to give information gotten through Google’s tracking. You would be able to share estimates on those numbers from some 3rd party tracking program, if you cared to.
And you would be able to share total earnings. That’s just a number on a check–Google can’t prevent you from telling people how much they paid you. The check is yours.
It’s the information that Google provides you that you aren’t permitted to share.

As much as I find your body of work (and the posted results) inspirational, I think your nuts for posting/discussing your earnings. In doing so, you have already done enough to get dropped from Adsense. Whether or not you violated the TOS, they are just that hypersensitive.
PS – Having ads other than Adsense on a page is a TOS violation. I just had a client get dropped for it.
PSS – Due to the subject matter of this page you may want to meta tag “noindex,noarchive,nofollow” just to be on the safe side.

Google doesn’t have a problem with ads other than adsense. They have a problem with TEXT ads other than adsense. I don’t think scrivs has that on any of his sites… the text ads that aren’t adsense are the ones that adsense serves for him when it would do public service announcements otherwise.
As for the earnings… yeah, probably right.
Wayne… You are wrong. You can have other ads other than adsense on your page. Where do you get your information from. You can also have text ads on your page aslong as they dont mimic adsense ads. Also, you can post earnings on the net, just not adsense earning specifically.

Also, if you’ve followed his previous posts, his amounts he is quoting is not solely derived from Adsense ads. He has site sponsorships and Amazon Associate revenue packaged in there as well.
So let’s just say the Whitespace Google revenue is probably more than what 98% of other bloggers make.
