October Blogfest: Problogger

As the second installment of my theme this month, October Blogfest, I thought it would be quite fitting to highlight the master of blogging, Darren Rowse over at Problogger. How in the world does Problogger tie into Interview Chatter? I had to think about it for a minute, but I think I found a connection.
Need a job? Consider blogging! No interviews required and no experience required. Let me say right up front though, blogging will not pay your bills out of the gate. So you still may need to find other employment while you establish yourself in this incredibly, fluid world of blogging. I will say, I personally believe it is a very rewarding gig! I enjoy it! But back to Problogger…
If you are remotely interested in becoming a blogger, I highly recommend Darren’s blog site. He will give you a FREE education on the how-to’s of blogging. There is so much information on his site. You will never digest it in one sitting. But if you take your time, and make it a priority, you will learn not only the basics of blogging, but how to grow, and mature your blog, and yourself as a blogger.

The last feature I want to highlight about Problogger is Darren himself. He is an incredible resource to the world of blogging. He is a gatherer of bloggers. People come out of the woodworks just to read his blog or for his writing projects and his contest! Click the link and go see for yourself, read his story! It is well worth the investment of your time if you are thinking about becoming a blogger or if curiosity just got the best of you!

Just a quick personal testimony: I had no idea what blogging was all about when I jumped into this thing. I knew nothing! ABSOLUTELY nothing. But I heard about Problogger from other bloggers and I went out to Darren’s site to visit. I was hooked. For my first 6 months I was out on his site almost daily, trying to understand this new world. I highly recommend blogging as a residual income for anyone looking for employment. It has been one of the best things I have done over the last, almost year. I plan to be here next year!! If you have questions, ask! If I don’t know the answer – I know a Problogger who probably does!!
