October Cocktail

It’s October first (how did that happen already??) and that means it’s time for another exclusive cocktail from Drinks After Dark’s official Cocktail Guru, Steve Kemble.

This month, Steve’s evoking a little bit of a Halloween bonfire type vibe and brings us a “Campfire Martini”. It’s pretty easy, and something the grown ups can have while kids snack on s’mores.

To make:

1 oz 10 Cane Rum
1 oz Godiva Dark Liqueur
1 oz Bailey’s
2 dashes Vanilla extract
Crushed Graham Crackers
Melted Chocolate
Bacardi 151 Rum soaked marshmellows for S’more effect (optional)

Pour all liquids into shaker over ice and shake vigorously. Rim a martini glass with melted chocolate, and press into the crushed graham crackers before the chocolate sets. Let the glass stand for a moment and serve!

This sounds to me like a yummy fall evening drink. Definitely one I’d recommend!

Hmmm… I’m wondering why we don’t get to set the marshmallows on fire? Then it would be AWESOME. I’m totally serious!

I’m sure you could set them on fire – they’re soaked in 151 after all… pure sugar and alcohol? those suckers would GO UP! ;)

  3. Lisa says:

But just lightly “go up” right? And if not it will be a REAL CAMPFIRE and that would be AWESOME.

    That sounds disgusting
