Office 12 Mobile Beta 1 may be released next week

According to Mobile Mag, Microsoft will make Office 12 beta 1 for mobile devices available next week.

As reported in an earlier post, expected changes are new viewers for Word, Excel and PowerPoint, limited editing capabilities for Word and Excel, and support for rights management and the XML file format.

We can also look forward to Microsoft OneNote Mobile, the mobile version of OneNote, the note taking software. The word is that this will allow you to take full advantage of your smartphone. You can take photos with the digital camera and include them right in the notes.
