Oh Crap Situation 14: Cell Phone

So I made the last “Oh Crap” 12 again because I wanted to skip over 13 (no one called me out!)… because I can be careless sometimes, too.

So you are talking to a big lead for your business, and you rely on your cell phone as your main method of communication since you are always moving. You are trying to sell your new line of bottle openers to some outlets, but for some reason your cell phone keeps cutting out.  This is the third time you have gotten cut off and you need to close out the deal.  Unfortunately, you feel that if you put off the conversation any longer, she will reconsider your deal and turn it down.  Is it worth the risk to wait for a better phone connection (which could be another day since you won’t have access to one until around 10PM) – or should you keep trying?
