Oh, Thank Heaven

The Chicago White Sox, in the long tradition of original promotions, have moved the start time for all their home night games to 7:11, prompting 7-11 to throw some cash their way. Not a bad deal for the White Sox, considering games rarely start when they’re supposed to anyways, really they’re getting paid to say the game’s going to be starting at a time around which the game would be starting anyways. I’m personally glad they waited to get in bed with 7-11 though, as an earlier promotion may have changed Frank Thomas’ nickname to the Big Gulp.
