OJ Simpson Sentenced – Witch Hunt or Karma?

OJ Simpson found out today how long he’d be put away. And it wasn’t what he wanted to hear. According to reports, Simpson could spend up to the next 33 years in prison and is guaranteed to spend at least the next nine years. That means that the 61-year-old Simpson won’t be out until he’s at least 70 years old.

Now while what he did was wrong in Las Vegas, did his prior transgressions come into play? If he wasn’t the world most popular murderer acquitted murderer, would law enforcement be looking to throw the book at him?

Although this case could have been a witch hunt, karma could have been at work. Anyone dumb enough to kill his wife get off of a murder charge and then put himself in another legal predicament deserves what he gets — at least theoretically.
