Old Spice Red Zone Body Wash

old-spice-Double-Impact I like body washes better than bar soap because it works better when used with a shower scrubby than bar soap does. Most people when using a bar soap they just rub it onto a wash cloth or rub it against their body in a subconscious hope that they are getting clean. This is why I use a shower scrub and body wash. It just makes more sense to me than rubbing a bar or wash cloth against your skin.

You’d think a liquid body wash soap is the same as the next one right? Nope. Some will dry out your skin and some of them don’t smell all that nice. I have tried a variety of Body washes and the newest one is Old Spice Red Zone Double Impact Body Wash. Now when a lot of people think of Old Spice they think of the Old Spice of yesterday. Old Spice back in the day used to have cologne and aftershaves that were just a strong smelling, overpowering scent that a lot of people associated with…old men.

The first reaction to Old Spice Red Zone was an honest “wtf?” Why? because it has a very bright color blue to it. I was a little worried I might get out of the shower looking like a smurf, but when I lathered it up the blue color kind of dissipated and I was left with a very pleasant foamy loofa. I’m not sure, but it feels and appears as if there is some mild abrasive in it. It goes on foamy and rinses well and doesn’t leave your skin feeling dry like a lot of soaps do.

If your looking to try a new body wash and you often pass by Old Spice without a second thought, give it a try. Old Spice is not the Old Spice brand of yesterday. They’ve improved the products and improved the scent.

Dial for Men body wash is great. It’s moisturizing, good smell. Leaves my skin soft and it helps a ton with dry, itchy skin in the winter, you should check it out. Also, ounce for ounce I think it’s cheaper than most other body washes. Girlfriend loves the stuff on me.

I love love love love how this smells on my hubby!!!! Did I say I liked it? ;) Seriously- Target makes a great knock off that I have been buying for him- it smells the same and he says it works just as well- $2.00 cheaper as well. I am stingy when it comes to $$$.

This stuff works nice and smells nice but I probably won’t buy anymore. I like Axe. I saw the dial for men yesterday and it smelled ok, but I still like Axe body washes.

  1. [...] Scent wise? first sniff, it was mild. Nothing to attack your nostrils as you would expect from an uber-blue foamy bath wash. From a Man’s perspective, check out my husband’s review of Old Spice Red Zone Body Wash at Health and Men. [...]
