Wow.  I can’t even believe this story.  Four horses have been banned from competing at the jumping competition today at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games because they tested positive for the banned substance, capsaicin.  The affected horses were from Brazil, Germany, Ireland and Norway.

“Capsaicin is classified as a ‘doping’ prohibited substance given its hypersensitising properties, and as a ‘medication class A’ prohibited substance for its pain relieving properties,” the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) said in a statement.

I don’t know about you, but I never really thought about the animals testing positive for doping.  Oh well, you learn something new every day…

Wow. That’s a whole new level of crazy right there.

I don’t know why anyone bothers to keep using drugs in something as big as the Olympics. They KNOW they’re testing!
