On DVD: “Reaper” Season 2

The second season of Reaper is now available on DVD.  The series follows the life of Sam Oliver, a Reaper who actually collects souls from the earth that have somehow managed to escape from Hell.  Sound reaper dvd coverfarfetched?  I haven’t even mentioned the fact that he works for the Devil!

The show stars Bret Harrison as Sam, Tyler Labine (remember him from Breaker High?) and Rick Gonzalez as his co-workers, Bert “Sock” Wysocki and Ben Gonzalez, Missy Peregrym as Sam’s girlfriend (and supervisor), Andi and Ray Wise and The Devil.

The series aired on the CW before it was cancelled.  The last episode aired on May 26, 2009.  There is some talk of ABC picking up a syndicated version that would air on Sunday nights but nothing is final yet.  For now, you can watch the DVDs to get your Reaper fix.

Here are the episodes from Season 2 (starting from episode 19 because there were 18 episodes in the first season):

19 "A New Hope" (March 3, 2009)

20 "Dirty Sexy Mongol" (March 10, 2009)
