Once A Cheater, Always A Cheater

Isn’t that that true? I mean really, should we be that surprised that the IOC is investigating whether or not Chinese gymnasts were underage in the 2000 Olympics? (Maybe about as surprised as we all are that Clay Aiken is gay … yep, totally didn’t see that one coming.)

According to Yahoo! Sports,yangyun_nc.jpg international gymnastics officials are examining whether Yang Yun and Dong Fangxiao, in particular, were old enough to compete at the Sydney Olympics. Gymnasts must turn 16 during the Olympic year.

This sounds painstakingly familiar

Only a month after the Beijing Games ended, the investigation into the eligibility of the Chinese gymnasts continues, and Gueisbuhler said there is no timetable for when a report will be handed over to the IOC.

A big gold star for you for making an aren’t-we-shocked comment about Clay Aiken being gay . . . ’cause I was going to slip that into my post tonight, too. But you beat me to it! The minds of sports chick-fans think alike! ;)
