Online Ability of Office 2010

I have used Google Docs and even if it’s far from able compared to what I am used to in Microsoft Office 2007, the online ability and feature makes it so much easier for my day to day usage. I supposed a lot of Microsoft users do appreciate the this online feature and have somehow hoped that Microsoft brings their Office applications real time.

All you Microsoft users doesn’t have to wait any longer as one of the better things about Microsoft Office 2010 is it’s online ability where you can create, edit, save office documents online.

The primary Office 2010 programs like the Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Ms OneNote all includes web applications. The Office 2010 applications is going to be available for users with Windows Live Account.

Aside from these, you should be able to save your documents to the free Windows Live SkyDrive account.

This should be awesome and I wonder how Microsoft is going to synch-up the license from your desktop to the online account. I guess that once you install the desktop application, you would be taken to the online account and be able to login using your license key for initial verification.

    Hey Milo-

Take a look at Microsoft’s Office Live Workspace. It is a free online service that let’s users store up to 5GB of files online for anytime, anywhere access. Right now it can be plugged into Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007 (although it can be used as a stand-alone service too), meaning it only takes a few clicks to save files from your desktop to the cloud.

    Cheers,
    Jeff
