You see, TimeShift is messed up in a good way. Love Death is just messed up. ;)

I’m considering a 360, but I’m not completely sold to the idea yet because of its messy hardware. No, three years of warranty doesn’t change that. Even the best games won’t change that.

That’s pretty messed-up.

Though I can think of a more messed-up FPS. The recent Xbox 360 demo of TimeShift. Hands-down one of the best FPS demos I’ve played in years, and it’s easily shaping up to be the sleeper hit of this Fall.

Halo 3 will pretty much dominate, but I think TimeShift will garner a hell of a lot of accolades and hopefully get a following.

Because the design and balance are just incredible. The extra year of dev time is paying off.

You gotta check it out, Mike. You’ve got to. Because pausing time to freeze a guard in mid-air as he just lept over a barricade, shooting him in the chest with a shotgun, then un-pausing time to see him flying backward=priceless.

The demo itself is filled with moments like that.
