Oops, He Did It Again – Jesse Jackson Successfully Opens His Big, Fat Mouth

It’s amazing how some people will say ANYTHING, and then act like they don’t know what all the hoopla’s about.

Introducing, the Rev. Jesse Jackson.

The right Reverend has once again successfully managed to make himself look and sound completely idiotic and controversial with his latest comments about good ‘ol Obama. Fox News caught him on a “live mic” (yeah, right) making comments about Obama’s (then) latest political stance and what he’d like to do to Obama’s nether regions…ouch!

Jackson followed up later by apologizing and saying that his words were “taken out of context.” Umm, excuse me? How can that comment be taken out of context? Perhaps he is just sorrier that he got caught. Can you say Billewinsky?

Man Up…(or Woman up)
Jackson and others like him need to not only take responsibility for their comments but be aware of how their comments can and do affect others. He just doesn’t get it, does he? It’s not all about him anymore. He was the “man” back in the 80s and such but I’m afraid the Rainbow has gone out of his Coalition. There’s another rain man in town and he’s talking right, acting right and playing right…all of the things that Jackson does not do well. Ouch again.

Watch what you say, or at least think about the consequences of what you say. Words mean things and words affect situations both positively and negatively. Remember, once you say it, you can’t take it back.

Mouth diarrhea is just simply NOT attractive.

You know, I voted for Mr. Jackson back when he was running for presidential election because I believed he was going to unite people with his persuasiveness. Yet it’s pretty apparent lately that he isn’t all that interested in advancing racial or ethnic unity. His comments are divisive and do nothing to advance anyone’s cause: least of all his own.

It really makes me sad to see that. He’ll do more to harm Obama than help him. He needs to acknowledge that and back off. His credibility is shot.
