If you are using OpenDocuments, you can turn your text into audio formats. Try using this OpenOffice.org extension to convert your text to DAISY DBT Format. Digital Talking Book (DBT) is a multimedia representation of a print publication. In both instances the rendering of the audio is in human voice.
