Greetings sports fans, gossip junkies, and b5 fans all over the cyber world! Welcome to my snark-arific, almost-anything-goes blog, where my goals are to:
A) give the dish on/show the humor in/make fun of all things sports-related both on and off the field;
B) invite my blog readers to join in the catty good times via the handy-dandy comments section;
C) coin as many multi-hyphen-“How’s-this-for-an-adjective?” words as my Channel Editor (I’m winking at you, Kori Ellis!) will allow before saying, “Slowly back away from the thesaurus.”
Now, I should bring you up to speed on a couple of things ASAP. First, I’m from New England, so you miiiiight detect a bit of shamefully unapologetic bias in favor of the regional pro and college teams. To all you Yankees and Jets fans I say: Bring it on!
Second, I reserve the right to type like a Bostonian: e.g., “What a pahty we threw after the Red Sox ended the 2007 regulah season as AL East Champs!” or “Who was that chick with whom A-Rod went to dinnah and stayed at a hotel? You know, the one who wasn’t his wife?”
Lastly, this blog is for entertainment, not gospel readings (unless you subscribe to the Church of Fluff). No need to get your jock straps or sports bras—or hey, maybe both, who am I to judge?—in a bunch around here ‘cause it’s all tongue-in-cheek.
