OPML Icon
Next tot the standard RSS Icon we also needed a standard for OPML. Chris Pirillo has made an interesting suggestion for such a logo. Nice!

This logo does not ‘ring a bell’ for me.
And the RSS logo does?
Sure! Looking at the RSS logo I associate it with waves transmitted by a ‘point source’. For me it suggests information is distributed from this site.
No comparable association for at all with the OPML logo. Just concentric circles.
I’m a fan of the new OPML icon. But it’d also be interesting to see it without the dot in the center…

However no association for me with OPML at all.
I’m sorry to say so.
Because of lack of a good alternative I suggest to stick with the icon Kosso uses for quite some time:
