Outlook Mismanagement of Archive Folders

Can someone please tell me why Microsoft developers think the formatting over there to the left is the best way to manage archived mail folders?
Why do they all have to show as soon as the first archive happens? I know I can close them all individually, but I thought the purpose of archiving your old mail was to get it out of the way right?
Why should I have to right-click on each one of them to get them out of the way and unseen. Also, why is it when I take the time to go into their “Properties” panel and rename them to match the clients for each archive file, as soon as the next archive happens it renames them all back to the generic “Archive Folders”.
That’s just plain annoying.
If someone has a solution (aside from ditching Microsoft) for this little problem, please let me know. If you’re a Microsoft employee that works on the Outlook team, please let me know the thought process that occurs for this to be the final result.
I only have one archive folder. Do you try to do something different or does it automatically just make a new one each time.
I am guessing don’t rename them.

I have a separate archive folder setup for each client. Not renaming them would save me time, but then it’s hard to tell what archive I want to open by just looking at them.
