P2P Coming to PS3 Home?

May 1, 2007 by Ingrid Diaz

Rumor has it that Sony is planning to intergrate P2P file sharing into PlayStation 3 home in order to lower the loads on their servers.

That’s good news for people who wish to download movies. P2P will certainly allow for faster transfer rates. Downloadable HD movies, anyone?

Guess we’ll see if the P2P rumor is true and what Sony decides to do with it if it is.
