Pac-Man Movie Coming Soon

May 23, 2008 by Jayvee Fernandez

Producer Steven Paul, the man behind such cinematic gems as Ghost Rider and Bratz, has secured $200 million in funding for five new films. Among them are adaptations of two classic video game franchises: Castlevania and Pac-Man. Yes, Pac-Man.

No plot details yet on the Pac-Man movie, but this old parody trailer probably isn’t much worse.

Uwe Boll gained notoriety with horrible adaptations of modern video games. Perhaps Steven Paul hopes to do the same thing with classic video games. What’s next, a Minesweeper movie?

Oh well. If nothing else, we’re guaranteed a new Pac-Man game for the current generation of consoles. Hope at least that doesn’t suck.
